Vanilla pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Vanilla in Maputo: 14 units tested over 8 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at vanilla in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A vanilla pod kit from the pre-order options in Mozambique costs about MT3.12 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested vanilla in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.12 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
