Iced RDA IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 16 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with iced in Mozambique
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.01 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: iced in Maputo works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced RDA really costs in Maputo
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.01 per 10 ml.
How we tested iced in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where iced goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.01 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for iced in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
