Vanilla cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Vanilla in Maputo: 17 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the vanilla habit
Vanilla in Maputo reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested vanilla in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.97 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
