Plain in Maputo: 17 units tested over 4 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good prefilled pod from a repack
Plain prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on plain: 17 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: plain in Maputo works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain prefilled pod really costs in Maputo

How we tested plain in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where plain goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised MT56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.52 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.52 per 10 ml liquid plus MT56 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is plain legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
