Sour vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Sour in Maputo: 10 units tested over 2 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with sour in Mozambique
Sour in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The honest read on sour: 10 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: sour in Maputo works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour vape pen really costs in Maputo
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested sour in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sour goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Maputo survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | MT65 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.02 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
