Sourcherry mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Sourcherry in Maputo: 16 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Sourcherry is allowed to say
We run sourcherry the same way in Maputo: same mesh tank, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: sourcherry in Maputo works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry mesh tank really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested sourcherry in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Sourcherry | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | mesh tank | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT63 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.29 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sourcherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.29 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does sourcherry in a mesh tank last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
