Salted zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Salted in Maputo: 11 units tested over 8 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you are looking at salted in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the zero-nicotine bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: salted in Maputo works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Maputo
A salted zero-nicotine bottle from the online options in Mozambique costs about MT3.56 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested salted in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.56 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
