Salted vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Salted in Maputo: 9 units tested over 5 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a vape pen for salted
If you are looking at salted in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run salted the same way in Maputo: same vape pen, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted vape pen really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested salted in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.05 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
How long does salted in a vape pen last?
In Maputo we measured 5 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
