How we tested Salted vape pen here
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.93 per 10 ml.
A salted vape pen from the best options in Mozambique costs about MT1.93 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted vape pen really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested salted in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.93 per 10 ml.
