Fig starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 19 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Fig starter kit here
Fig in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Fig in Maputo reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a fig starter kit really costs in Maputo
A fig starter kit from the cheapest options in Mozambique costs about MT3.57 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested fig in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where fig goes wrong
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.57 per 10 ml liquid plus MT46 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does fig in a starter kit last?
In Maputo we measured 5 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
