Plain cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Plain in Maputo: 9 units tested over 5 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with plain in Mozambique
Plain cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A plain cartomizer from the bulk options in Mozambique costs about MT1.72 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Plain in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plain in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for plain in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
