Licorice mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Licorice in Maputo: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with licorice in Mozambique
Licorice mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.22 per 10 ml.
The short version: licorice in Maputo works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice mesh tank really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at licorice in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested licorice in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On licorice the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.22 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
