Spiced zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Spiced in Maputo: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.72 per 10 ml.
The honest read on spiced: 7 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: spiced in Maputo works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Maputo
Spiced in Maputo reaches the shelf in zero-nicotine bottle formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested spiced in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing spiced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.72 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
