Pear refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Pear in Maputo: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.6 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: pear in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear refill pack really costs in Maputo
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested pear in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where pear goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Maputo survives.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | MT67 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.6 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.6 per 10 ml liquid plus MT67 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.6 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
