Sourcherry starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Sourcherry in Maputo: 14 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.58 per 10 ml.
Sourcherry starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sourcherry starter kit really costs in Maputo
Sourcherry in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sourcherry in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sourcherry in Maputo survives.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
How long does sourcherry in a starter kit last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
