Passionfruit pen device IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Passionfruit in Maputo: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with passionfruit in Mozambique
Passionfruit prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.95 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long passionfruit tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a passionfruit pen device really costs in Maputo
Passionfruit in Maputo reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested passionfruit in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.95 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Passionfruit | Decides coil choice more than strength does |

| Stock checked | 20 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT66 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.95 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does passionfruit in a pen device last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does passionfruit taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the passionfruit blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
