Honey squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Honey in Maputo: 11 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Honey is allowed to say
Honey squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Honey in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: honey in Maputo works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a honey squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Honey squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested honey in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every honey bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where honey goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why honey tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long honey in Maputo survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should honey start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.88 per 10 ml liquid plus MT58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does honey in a squonk mod last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
