Mint refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Mint in Maputo: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Mint refill pack here
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.84 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: mint in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint refill pack really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested mint in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
Where mint goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.84 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Maputo survives.
