Plain disposable vape IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Plain in Maputo: 13 units tested over 8 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.94 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at plain in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the disposable vape you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: plain in Maputo works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain disposable vape really costs in Maputo
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a disposable vape running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested plain in a disposable vape
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where plain goes wrong
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Maputo survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a disposable vape and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
