Mint mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Mint in Maputo: 15 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit
Mint in Maputo reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you are looking at mint in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint mesh tank really costs in Maputo
The honest read on mint: 15 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested mint in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where mint goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.39 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
How long does mint in a mesh tank last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
