Iced disposable vape IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 20 units tested over 2 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Iced disposable vape here
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.25 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: iced in Maputo works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced disposable vape really costs in Maputo
The honest read on iced: 20 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested iced in a disposable vape
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where iced goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a disposable vape and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
