Lemon box mod IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Lemon in Maputo: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The honest read on lemon: 13 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon box mod really costs in Maputo
Lemon sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested lemon in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.08 per 10 ml.
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for lemon in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | MT68 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.08 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does lemon in a box mod last?
In Maputo we measured 5 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.08 per 10 ml liquid plus MT68 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
