Grapey squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Grapey in Maputo: 15 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Grapey sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Grapey in Maputo reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey squonk mod really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at grapey in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested grapey in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in Maputo survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for grapey in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.73 per 10 ml liquid plus MT34 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
