Iced pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Iced in Maputo: 24 units tested over 8 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Iced is allowed to say
Iced sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.6 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced pod kit really costs in Maputo
We run iced the same way in Maputo: same pod kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where iced goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Maputo survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
