Graphite RDA IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Graphite in Maputo: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Graphite is allowed to say
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
A graphite RDA from the reviewed options in Mozambique costs about MT3.47 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: graphite in Maputo works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite RDA really costs in Maputo
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.47 per 10 ml.
How we tested graphite in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
