Lemon box mod IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Lemon in Maputo: 10 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with lemon in Mozambique
Lemon sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run lemon the same way in Maputo: same box mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: lemon in Maputo works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon box mod really costs in Maputo
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.68 per 10 ml.
How we tested lemon in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lemon in Maputo survives.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | MT66 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.68 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Not automatically. On lemon the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.68 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
How long does lemon in a box mod last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
