Frozen pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Frozen in Maputo: 6 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the frozen habit
Frozen in Maputo reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Frozen pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: frozen in Maputo works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen pod kit really costs in Maputo
Frozen sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested frozen in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.76 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
