Herbal cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Herbal in Maputo: 7 units tested over 4 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the herbal habit
Herbal cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run herbal the same way in Maputo: same cartomizer, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a herbal cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Herbal in Maputo reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested herbal in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a herbal bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised MT51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.52 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
