Fig starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Fig in Maputo: 17 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
Fig in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Fig starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a fig starter kit really costs in Maputo
Fig in Maputo reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested fig in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where fig goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long fig in Maputo survives.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
