Pear 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Pear in Maputo: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
Pear in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the 60 ml bottle you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.56 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 60 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.56 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.56 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
How long does pear in a 60 ml bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
