Dessert cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Dessert in Maputo: 22 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Dessert cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.37 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested dessert in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.37 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
