Berry box mod IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Berry in Maputo: 18 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
A berry box mod from the reviewed options in Mozambique costs about MT3.5 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Berry box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long berry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a berry box mod really costs in Maputo
We run berry the same way in Maputo: same box mod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested berry in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where berry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.5 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Entry kit | MT40 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.5 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does berry in a box mod last?
In Maputo we measured 2 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.5 per 10 ml liquid plus MT40 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should berry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
