Cream prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Cream in Maputo: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with cream in Mozambique
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run cream the same way in Maputo: same prefilled pod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long cream tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cream prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
Cream in Maputo reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested cream in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where cream goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does cream taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the cream blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cream the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.41 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
