Plum vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Plum in Maputo: 18 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with plum in Mozambique
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The honest read on plum: 18 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: plum in Maputo works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum vape pen really costs in Maputo
A plum vape pen from the discounted options in Mozambique costs about MT1.84 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
