Cherry prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Cherry in Maputo: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a prefilled pod for cherry
Cherry prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cherry prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT1.66 per 10 ml.
How we tested cherry in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cherry in Maputo survives.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for cherry in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.66 per 10 ml liquid plus MT49 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
