Coffee sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Coffee in Maputo: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with coffee in Mozambique
The honest read on coffee: 18 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Coffee sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coffee sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.03 per 10 ml.
How we tested coffee in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coffee in Maputo survives.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for coffee in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should coffee start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
