Berry pen device IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Berry in Maputo: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Berry in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Berry pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long berry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a berry pen device really costs in Maputo

How we tested berry in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where berry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing berry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for berry in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Why does berry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the berry blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should berry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
