Cherry zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Cherry in Maputo: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on cherry: 17 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, zero-nicotine bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cherry zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Maputo
Cherry sounds like one product. It is not: a zero-nicotine bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested cherry in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.73 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Entry kit | MT35 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.73 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should cherry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a zero-nicotine bottle.
How much does a zero-nicotine bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.73 per 10 ml liquid plus MT35 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
