Cherry prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Cherry in Maputo: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good prefilled pod from a repack
Cherry prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A cherry prefilled pod from the pre-order options in Mozambique costs about MT2.68 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cherry prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
Cherry in Maputo reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested cherry in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for cherry in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
