Cream cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Cream in Maputo: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run cream the same way in Maputo: same cartomizer, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cream cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Cream cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested cream in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cream bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where cream goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cream tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing cream with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Entry kit | MT66 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.31 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should cream start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.31 per 10 ml liquid plus MT66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does cream taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the cream blend itself harsh.
