Cherry nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Cherry in Maputo: 21 units tested over 4 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
A cherry nicotine salt bottle from the budget options in Mozambique costs about MT1.8 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at cherry in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested cherry in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for cherry in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is cherry legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
