Coconut box mod IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Coconut in Maputo: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a box mod for coconut
We run coconut the same way in Maputo: same box mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at coconut in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: coconut in Maputo works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut box mod really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested coconut in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.2 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

| Flavour | Coconut | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | box mod | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 10 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT31 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.2 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
