Dessert prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Dessert in Maputo: 16 units tested over 6 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run dessert the same way in Maputo: same prefilled pod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a dessert prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
Dessert prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested dessert in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.45 per 10 ml liquid plus MT34 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does dessert in a prefilled pod last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
