Caramel mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Caramel in Maputo: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the caramel habit
Caramel in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Caramel mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel mesh tank really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at caramel in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested caramel in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for caramel in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
