Sour 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Sour in Maputo: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sour habit
The honest read on sour: 22 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Sour 60 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: sour in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
A sour 60 ml bottle from the bulk options in Mozambique costs about MT1.76 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where sour goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 60 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.76 per 10 ml liquid plus MT53 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
