Vanilla sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Vanilla in Maputo: 8 units tested over 3 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A vanilla sub-ohm kit from the cheapest options in Mozambique costs about MT3.0 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Vanilla sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: vanilla in Maputo works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.0 per 10 ml.
How we tested vanilla in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.0 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
Is vanilla legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
