Nutty cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Nutty in Maputo: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the nutty habit
The honest read on nutty: 9 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Nutty cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: nutty in Maputo works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a nutty cartomizer really costs in Maputo
We run nutty the same way in Maputo: same cartomizer, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested nutty in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a nutty bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where nutty goes wrong
- Mixing nutty with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.67 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.67 per 10 ml liquid plus MT57 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does nutty taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the nutty blend itself harsh.
How long does nutty in a cartomizer last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
