Vanilla pen device IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Vanilla in Maputo: 20 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with vanilla in Mozambique
If you are looking at vanilla in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: vanilla in Maputo works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla pen device really costs in Maputo
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.26 per 10 ml.
How we tested vanilla in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.26 per 10 ml.
