Tropical disposable vape IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist — Iqosmozambique
Tropical in Maputo: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
The honest read on tropical: 20 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run tropical the same way in Maputo: same disposable vape, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the disposable vape you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical disposable vape really costs in Maputo

How we tested tropical in a disposable vape
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest disposable vape available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.39 per 10 ml.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
