Tobacco squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Tobacco in Maputo: 12 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What tobacco costs in Maputo
The honest read on tobacco: 12 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at tobacco in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long tobacco tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tobacco squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested tobacco in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing tobacco with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.42 per 10 ml.
